Arsenal's Liverpool guard of honour not a dilemma after forgotten Gunners trophy lift

This could Liverpool just need a point against Tottenham - of course it is Spurs - to claim yet another title.

After their draw at home to Crystal Palace, the door has opened ajar for the teams like Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United chasing the Gunners down. It is important that Arsenal continue their consistent run and show no regression even despite all the mitigating circumstances of this gruelling league campaign.

As they arrive at Anfield with Liverpool in place as champions, it is tradition for teams to give the crowned league winners a guard of honour. Forming two lines for the team to walk through to applause as they enter the field before kick-off.

So when Arsenal do go to Anfield next month, yes, they should honour the achievement. Using it as fuel and inspiration to prevent a similar scenario happening again.
