In 2020, he reprised his Die Hard character in a car battery advert alongside Bruce Willis. In his later years, he turned to academia, serving as an acting professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He died in November 2022, aged 66.
Whip Hubley as LT Rick 'Hollywood' NevenWhip Hubley, who played Hollywood, one of the Top Gun pilots, left the limelight in the early 2010s after roles in Russkies in 1987 and More Tales of the City in 1998.
