NEET PG 2025 City Intimation Slip: NEET PG city information slip has been released. The National Board of Medical Examination (NBEMS) has reportedly made a big mistake. Candidates are seeing the name of the state instead of the city in the city slip, after seeing which, the candidates have gotten confused.
It is worth noting that with the help of the city slip, the candidates are told the name of the city in which their examination center will be established. In such a situation, showing the name of the state instead of the city in it makes it meaningless. Due to this alleged mistake, the purpose of the examination city information slip itself seems to fail.
Matter shared on social media.
The candidates are sharing their upset in this regard through social media platforms. Many candidates have demanded clarification on social media. Some have even pointed out the irony of explaining the basic difference between the state and the city to the examination board.
A user shared a screenshot of the city slip, which mentioned Gujarat as the city. She wrote: "Some students got state as city, hope NBEMS will know that Gujarat is not a city and will solve it."
Another candidate, who was allotted Rajasthan as "exam city", shared a screenshot of the city slip with a sarcastic post - "Salute to NBEMS".
A student from Maharashtra wrote on X: "And the #NEETPG trend continues. They always surprise us. #NEETPG2025 They told about the center city but now they have told me about the state."
However, the NEET PG city information slip only mentions the state, thereby defeating the basic purpose. It is not clear whether this glitch has affected all applicants or only a select few.
