Dhruv Vikram, Tamil star Vikram’s son, has a niche for himself in the Tamil film industry with his work in films such as Mahaan and Adithya Varma. The young actor is now reportedly likely to add another film to his kitty. According to reports, he is said to be in talks to play the lead role in the Kollywood remake of a popular Hindi blockbuster.

Dhruv Vikram to star in the Tamil adaptation of Kill?

Kill, starring Lakshya, was one of the most controversial films of 2024. It became the talk of the town with its gruesome action sequence and raw depiction of onscreen violence. Some even drew parallels between it and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal as both films featured plenty of bloodshed.

Now, the film is reportedly being remade in Tamil with Dhruv Vikram in the lead. Dhruv rose to fame with Adithya Varma, a remake of Arjun Reddy. He then appeared alongside Vikram, his father, in Mahaan. The said Tamil remake of Kill has the potential to establish him as a bona fide action star, provided the adaptation lives up to the standards set by the original version.
