Audi India has launched a new initiative aimed at enhancing the skill set and safety awareness of drivers and chauffeurs. Called ‘ Drive Sure ,’ the program delivers structured education to bridge the gap between rapidly evolving automotive technologies and practical driving capabilities.
Targeted especially at younger drivers and professional chauffeurs, the program introduces a two-part curriculum — one tailored to high-performance driving and the other focused on day-to-day chauffeur responsibilities. It includes hands-on training across different driving environments and emphasizes the correct use of modern vehicle systems.
The participants also undergo an immersive workshop that prepares them to handle diverse road conditions and real-world driving challenges with precision and assurance. Emphasis is placed on cultivating a mindset centred around safety, regardless of speed or performance demands. For chauffeurs, a dedicated training stream addresses the finer aspects of professional driving. This includes modules on etiquette, personal presentation, in-depth understanding of Audi’s in-car technologies, and best practices for safe, smooth operation—ensuring every chauffeur reflects the premium standards associated with the Audi brand.
In a country where road safety is an urgent issue, this program isn’t just relevant, it’s essential. More than a typical training session, Drive Sure encourages a shift in how driving is perceived merging sophistication, control, and responsibility into one seamless approach. Offered at no cost to Audi owners and their chauffeurs, the program is designed to raise the bar on driving standards.
Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said, “At Audi, ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ is more than just an engineering principle; it’s a commitment to societal progress. Audi Drive Sure embodies this ethos by addressing a critical gap in India’s mobility landscape: the intersection of performance-oriented technology and human readiness. We intend to create a generation of drivers who respect power as much as they master it. By training young adults to navigate various terrains and driving situations, this program aims to elevate all Audi owners and chauffeurs to become brand ambassadors of safety-first driving behaviours,”
