Honda Motorcycle & Scooter has launched its flagship scooter X-ADV scooter in India, priced at Rs 11.90 lakh, ex-showroom. For reference, that’s just about the same amount as Honda’s Elevate SUV, which starts at Rs 11.91 lakh. The model will arrive in India via the CBU route. Bookings for this maxi-scooter have opened at Honda’s BigWing dealerships across India, with deliveries set to begin in June 2025. Here’s a quick look at key highlights.
Honda X-ADV: Design
The company is calling it a crossover scooter that offers a design of a maxi scooter along with the performance of an adventure motorcycle . The Honda X-ADV gets a tough and modern look with sharp LED headlights at the front along with a tall windscreen. Other highlights include spoke wheels and dual-sport tyres, upright riding position and wide handlebars, an upswept exhaust, and a busy, angular bodywork through to the tail section. Colour options for the X-ADV include Pearl Glare White and Graphite Black.

Under the skin, it draws its power from a 745 cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin motor that makes 58 hp at 6,750 RPM and 69 Nm of torque at 4,750 RPM. It’s paired with a DCT.
Honda X-ADV: Hardware
The model is built on a tubular steel frame, suspended by 41 mm USD front forks and a rear monoshock with adjustable preload. Stopping power comes from dual 296 mm discs at the front with radial-mounted calipers, and a 240 mm disc at the rear. As expected, it comes with dual channel ABS as standard. Moreover, the model rides on 17-inch front and 15-inch rear wheels, which should surely become handy in off-roading.

As for the features, it comes equipped with a 5-inch full-colour TFT screen offering smartphone connectivity through the Honda RoadSync app. Other features include cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle, and multiple riding modes: Standard, Sport, Rain, Gravel, and a customizable User mode. It also gets 22-litre underseat storage and a USB Type-C port.
