A wonderfully-disguised slower delivery by Lockie Ferguson proved to be too good for during Match 18 of the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals on Saturday, April 5. The right-arm pacer was understandably pumped after dismissing the set batter in the middle.
Coming back for his third spell of the evening, the 120.6 kph delivery completely outfoxed the southpaw. Jaiswal, who had notched up his first fifty of the season a while back, was quite early on the ball. His unsuccessful swing of the bat meant the ball crashed into the stumps, ultimately uprooting the off stump.

Ferguson's first dismissal of the game was that of the skipper, Sanju Samson. Samson directed the full ball outside off stump straight to Shreyas Iyer, who was stationed at mid-off. Samson's dismissal came almost immediately after the halfway mark had concluded.
