An informative and engaging session on ‘ Healthy Liver , Healthy Life’ was held recently, at Adarsh Auditorium, New Police Headquarters in Delhi.
The event was organized by the Police Families Welfare Society (PFWS) and graced by the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, Sanjay Arora, who attended as the Chief Guest.
The session was held under the visionary leadership and supervision of Ritu Arora, President, PFWS.
Officials say, "Her unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of police families continues to drive impactful initiatives within the organization.”
Drawing from his vast experience, Dr. Sarin shared crucial insights into the liver’s role in overall health, and discussed common liver ailments such as hepatitis, fatty liver, cirrhosis, and liver failure.
He emphasized the importance of preventive care, timely diagnosis, and a balanced lifestyle particularly for those working in high-stress environments like police personnel.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 430 police family members at the venue, with many more joining virtually through PFWS’s official YouTube and Facebook platforms. Senior Delhi Police officers, PFWS team leaders, and police family members were also in attendance.
