Send Push

Mumbai: The BMC has announced plans to shut down the outdated 600-inch diameter Tulsi water pipeline at Bandra Cabin in Bandra East. The replacement work for the old pipeline is scheduled to begin on April 8. As a result, water supply to the Bandra-Kurla Complex will be disrupted for two hours, between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM during this period.

The BMC has urged residents in the affected areas to store an adequate supply of water as a precaution. During the disruption, it is advised to use water sparingly. Additionally, as a safety measure, the BMC recommends filtering and boiling water for the next 4 to 5 days before consumption.

Once the pipeline work is completed, an improvement in the water supply is expected for the H East ward, covering areas such as Santacruz, Khar, and Bandra East, said the BMC.
