An inspiring project called “Thread 2 Trend” is giving a fresh life to old clothes—by turning jeans and cotton pants into smart, useful bags.
Started by Vijaykumar Katti, this initiative is a creative way to support both the environment and people in need.
Instead of throwing away old clothes, people can donate them. These clothes are then stitched into bags, which are given to students and others who could use them. All this is done at a minimal cost—just the stitching charges. ' The idea is to create awareness about reusing and recycling and reducing carbon emissions," said Katti.
“This is a great social cause,” said one supporter. “We can donate old clothes and gift the bags to those in need. It’s a small effort, but it can make a big difference.”
The project has already been successful in many areas and is spreading through community support. Vijaykumar Katti has also worked on other environmental efforts, like protecting trees, and is known for doing all this work without expecting any personal benefit.
Anyone who wants to take part or support the project can contact the team at 7977513822 or 7304522161, or email .
