An Indigo flight has made an emergency landing in Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir. This plane has been landed in an emergency situation due to bad weather.

Emergency Landing in Srinagar:  An Indigo flight made an emergency landing in Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the information received, there were 227 passengers on board the flight which made an emergency landing. It was told that Indigo flight 6E2142 had to make an emergency landing due to bad weather. Amidst bad weather and hailstorm, the pilot informed the control room about the emergency situation.

After which the flight landed safely in Srinagar at 6.30 pm. All aircrew and passengers are safe and the flight has been declared AOG by the airline. The front part of the plane has broken, pictures of which have also surfaced.

Indigo issued a statement

IndiGo issued a press statement that IndiGo flight 6E 2142 from Delhi to Srinagar faced sudden hailstorm en route. The flight and cabin crew followed the established protocol and the aircraft landed safely in Srinagar. After the arrival of the aircraft, the airport team took care of the passengers. The aircraft will be dispatched after necessary inspection and maintenance.

The nose of the flight that made an emergency landing in Srinagar was damaged. Pictures of which have surfaced. From these pictures, it is clear what must have happened to the flight.
