The Bharat Army, the official global supporters’ group of Team India, has unveiled a travel program for fans, during the forthcoming India-England Test series, starting June 20, 2025.
Curated by Bharat Army Travel, the experiential travel arm of Bharat Army, the packages create experience for cricket fans beyond just a seat in the stands.
At Leeds, for the first game, fans will have the option to choose from the Ultimate Experience, which comprises a five-night stay with breakfast, official match tickets, and exclusive Bharat Army merchandise, or even the Premier Experience, providing tickets and merchandise. All packages promise premium seating in the Popular Enclosure E and are designed to bring alive a sense of community and celebration amongst Indian cricket fans.
“At Bharat Army, we have always believed that any sports event for a fan, is not just occupying a seat in the stands, it is much more. We want to curate an experience where the fans are able to optimally live the five days to the fullest. All the venues hosting the five Tests have a special place in the hearts of cricket fans and we are developing packages that reflect and stand true to their passion for the sport. We wish to cultivate a sense of togetherness, where they chant in the stands, bond over meals, and we make every fan feel that they are a part of something bigger,” Bharat Army co-founder Rakesh Patel said.
Beyond the match days, fans will be treated with cultural experiences through meetups, local events, and exclusive access to Bharat Army content and merchandise. The experience has been designed for families, first-time travellers, alongside die-hard cricket fans, who wish to explore the English cities, but through the lens of cricket.
“Bharat Army understands the pulse of the Indian fandom and the broader picture of stimulating and supporting fans away from home. It is that core emotion which we channelise into every experience. We know what the fans want because we are fans ourselves and that propels us to seamlessly blend travel, emotion, experience, passion, and purpose with sport,” Patel added.
The Bharat Army has been one of the most vividly visible cricket fan communities in the world, and they have constantly improved the match-going experience for Indian supporters across different continents. The travel initiative for the England series is another constructive step towards making the travel for cricket more accessible, immersive, and memorable for the global diaspora.
