Fans of spotted a huge spoiler in a behind-the-scenes video from the set. And the show has poked fun at the situation on social media as viewers now prepare for a major change on Albert Square to unfold.
Earlier this week, a post on the show's page teased that there's drama ahead for some residents. The video featured Aaliyah James, Elijah Holloway, Laura Doddington and Sophie Khan Levy - who play Avani Nandra-Hart, Harry Mitchell, Nicola Mitchell and Priya Nandra-Hart respectively.
The four cast members were seen on the set, including outside the Queen Vic. A 'for sale' sign was visible on the side of the pub as the actors entered that part of the location. The caption of the post teased: "Stick around, it'll be a bumpy ride!"
It suggests that the Queen Vic could have new owners in the coming months. The pub, which has after it was damaged in an explosion earlier this year, is currently run by Linda Carter (played by ), Elaine Peacock () and George Knight ().
Fans who spotted the auction sign took to the comments section to react to the apparent spoiler. One person questioned: "The Vic is for sale?" Speculating over a potential storyline, another asked: "So they're gonna have a bidding war?"

The BBC also poked fun yesterday at eagle-eyed fans searching for clues about what's to come in content on social media. The show's account on shared a photo Elijah looking at a phone alongside colleagues and , who play Honey Mitchell and Kim Fox.
The trio were sat outside the Queen Vic and the 'for sale by auction' sign was prominent in the background, with it up against a window behind them. The caption teased: "Desperately searching for clues in Behind The Scenes #EastEnders content…"

It has led to further questions over the apparent sale of the pub. One fan reacted: "Why is the Vic for sale when they've only just reopened it?" Another wrote in the comments section: "Sorry why is the Vic for sale. What's happening."
Others qondered over the specifics of the potential storyline. Someone said: "Wait because Linda & Elaine both have 50% share is 50% being sold like with Janine or is the lot getting sold."
