Axed star is set to re-ignite his acting career after landing a role in a London based film, alongside . Five years ago, Aedan, 24, was dropped from his role as Oliver Morgan by show bosses and replaced by Gabriel Clark.
Aedan had played Oliver, better known to fans as Ollie, for two years before bosses made the executive decision to replace him.
And after disappearing from the spotlight, it now looks as though the former TV star is back after the film's official account announced his involvement.
The movie is set in east London and both Katie and Aedan were pictured posing with the rest of the cast, which was posted on social media.
The announcement read: "Thrilled to welcome the fantastic @aedanduckworthhh to the cast as the self appointed leader of the internet ninja assassins, bringing the comedy and the charm."
Meanwhile, Aedan then shared a post to confirm his happy news on set. And he captioned the post: "What a week shooting @jackiethestripperfeaturefilm alongside my amazing colleagues."
is seen standing in the back row of the film's line-up, wearing a striking red blazer and fitted black top. And in another picture of the former glamour model, she is seen wearing a microphone placed on her top.
But this is not the only project Katie is currently involved in this year. She is also starring in the Easter pantomime of Pinocchio and shared a backstage picture of herself in costume.
The mum of five is playing the role of the Fairy and was seen dressed in a blue sequined dress with puffed sleeves, teamed with a tiara perched on her head.
The reality TV star is set to perform in Sevenoaks, Kent over the weekend before heading to Clacton in Essex and Northampton.
She captioned the picture saying: "Excited for the Pinocchio Panto Show today in Sevenoaks. Tomorrow we're in Clacton and Monday in Northampton see you all soon. Enjoy the show."
And later in the year, she will be joined on stage with for their upcoming 38-date tour titled An Evening With Katie and Kerry.
Both reality TV stars have been friends for two decades and according to a source close to the former glamour model, Kerry has been a pillar of support for Katie over her troubling times.
A source told The : "A close pal told The Mirror: "Katie and Kerry have very different things going on in their lives but they are growing closer over their shared experiences of tough times – they've been a shoulder for each other to cry on."
They added: "Katie didn't have the best Mother's Day, she was working and didn't see her kids, which was tough for her. Katie's eldest kids are all grown up now and are really independent, though she spends lots of time with them both. They also spend a lot of time with Pete, so she doesn't have as much time with them as she used to."
The tour is set to start in September and will conclude in October.
Meanwhile, when it was announced that Aedan had been dropped from the E4 show, a spokesperson for the show said: "Aedan Duckworth is no longer appearing in and his role has been recast."
