While quitting your job and moving to a quaint coastal town has entered most of our minds at some point - very few actually take the leap. But, exhausted by the 9-5 rat run and insufferably busy , one Brit wiped her hands of city life for good.
Stasia Buckle, a decorator, interior stylist and content creator, left the Big Smoke for a more peaceful life in , a tiny slice of paradise snuggled in the south east of . She has swapped soaring skyscrapers and constant traffic for calming sea breeze and four miles of soft golden sand.
Like a growing number of Brits, Stasia is now able to work remotely - meaning she is longer restricted to a central London office five times a week. She will occasionally head back into the city for meetings, but spends the majority of her time surrounded by idyllic vistas and a balmier climate.

Her TikTok feed is filled with stunning shots of syrup-like sunsets, rugged cliffs, and cobalt waters - all of which seem worlds away from the bleak capital. The decorator recently went viral, garnering more than 416,000 views after shedding light on how leaving London had improved her life.
"For 14 years, I would get the tube to work every day in London, packed in like sardines - inhaling somebody's armpit by 8.07am [while] trying to conceal the hangover and thinking of reasons to not have to come to work tomorrow," Stasia wrote. "Now, my bus stop has a sea view. There's no queue. I get the best seat in the house and I'm thinking of how I can get to do it all again tomorrow."
Hundreds of inspired viewers flocked to the comments section to hail the influencer's decision - with many branding the town 'beautiful'. "What made you choose Whitsand Bay?" one user asked. "We have been dreaming of moving to a seaside home and leave London's chaotic city life for good but no family or friends near beaches to think of moving out."
Stasia replied, stating she understands the concern many Londoners face. "I was the same and worried about feeling too isolated because it’s quite remote here," she added. "But I have few friends here and just fell in love with the area. I like that it's not touristy."
Another viewer praised: "Love Whitsand Bay! I used to holiday there most summers - would love to move fully away from London but by job keeps me tied," while a third added: "You really are living my dream life."
