Nicola Mitchell's EastEnders exit 'sealed' as she finally reveals truth about Shireen's murder

was caught out by her husband in tonight's episode of , as he finally found out what really happened during the night of Shireen's murder. Now, fans think Nicola's time in Walford is limited.

Until now, Teddy knew that , but tonight, the truth was finally revealed. During a one on one chat with Teddy, after Harry had left, Nicola told her ex that that she wished she had never asked Benji to move Shireen’s body.

Teddy then realised that Nicola was the one who murdered Shireen, as she confessed: "We had an argument, and she fell. There was nothing I could do. It was me, Teddy. I killed her. It was an accident, I swear."

Teddy was left fuming, and a worried Nicola sobbed: "What are you going to do? Are you going to tell him?" referring to Harry. At present, Harry thinks that Nicola only hired Benji to scare Shireen off, as she told her son she thought Shireen was abroad until the police came round to reveal that her body had been found in Paradise Park.

Although fans aren't yet sure what Teddy's next move will be, many are certain he's going to let slip to Harry, as they think they're going to call the police on his mother - meaning the end for Nicola's character on Albert Square.

Taking to X, formerly known as , one fan wrote: "The trio of Teddy, Nicola and Harry were perfect and such good acting from them. Unsure what the future holds for Nic - I imagine, she leaves or gets put in jail. I think Harry will spiral now ."

A second wrote: "Hopefully Harry will go straight to the police once the truth about Nicola's involvement in Shireen's death comes to light. Yes Benji was also involved but he only moved the body. I just hope Teddy reporting Benji doesn't backfire on the rest of his family."

A third took to to write: "I really hope Harry goes to the police and doesn't get himself in trouble trying to avenge Shireen's murder!"

Shireen's murder isn't the only huge secret Nicola is hiding. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Zack Hudson was her youngest son Barney's father, and not Teddy.
