The Celebrities on this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing have been working their fingers to the bone in a desperate bid to impress the judges and make it to the final. But if the leaderboard from last week's live show is anything to go by, it looks as though Karen Carney and her professional dance partner Carlos Gu are the ones to look out for.
As the second week of live shows continues tonight, we take a look at what last week's leaderboard tells us about the competition so far. During the first week, the voting system was not open to the public, so their scores are to be carried forward to this week.
As it now stands, Karen is at the top of the leaderboard with 31 points, closely followed by Lewis Cope and his dance partner Katya Jones. Third on the board is Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lauren Oakley with 27 points out of 40.

New arrival Amber Davies has jumped straight in with the same amount of points as Jimmy for her performance of the Waltz, followed by La Voix, who is partnered with Aljaž Skorjanec.
They have scored 24 points. George Clarke also has the same points. With 23 points, former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison and Stefan Dennis have 22 points.
Actress Alex Kingston has 21 points, followed by Harry Aikines-Aryeetey with 19 points. With 17 points is Ellie Goldstein, and EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal.
Coming in at 16 points is Thomas Skinner with his dance partner Amy Dowden, followed by Chris Robshaw at 14 points, and lastly Ross King with 10 points.
Amber Davies was announced as a last-minute addition to the show after Dani Dyer bowed out of the competition after fracturing her ankle during rehearsals. She had been partnered with Nikita Kuzmin.
On September 23, Dani issued a statement about her departure from the BBC show. She said: "I had a fall on Friday in rehearsals and landed funny. I thought I had rolled my foot but it swelled up badly over the weekend and after an MRI scan yesterday, it turns out I have fractured my ankle."
She continued: "Apparently doing the quickstep on a fracture is not advisable (!!) and the doctors have said I am not allowed to dance so l’ve had to pull out of the show. "
Dani concluded: "To say I’m heartbroken is the biggest understatement. I am so going to miss dancing with Nikita but will of course be watching closely and cheering all the couples on."
And Sarah James, Executive Producer, BBC Studios says: “Dani has brought so much passion, joy and enthusiasm to Strictly, and her partnership with Nikita was off to the most sensational start. Everyone on the show is incredibly sad that she's no longer able to compete in this year's series. We send her all our love and best wishes for a swift recovery, and we very much hope to welcome her back to the ballroom in the future."
