Samsung is set to expand its budget 5G portfolio in India with the launch of the Galaxy M17 5G on October 10, 2025. The phone will be available in two color options—Moonlight Silver and Sapphire Black—and is expected to be priced under ₹15,000, positioning it strongly against competitors like Xiaomi and Realme.
The Galaxy M17 5G boasts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and offers an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. It features a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 5MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP macro camera. On the front, it houses a 13MP selfie camera enhanced with AI-powered photography tools such as advanced scene detection and optimization.
Samsung has designed the M17 5G to be sleek and slim, measuring just 7.5mm in thickness, offering a premium feel at a budget price. The phone also includes features like Circle to Search with Google and Gemini Live, making it versatile for everyday use. While the official price is yet to be announced, speculation places it around ₹12,000 to ₹15,000, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers seeking high-quality features.
