How did the story of the acid attack begin?
Chandbabu had two shops in Siwan. One was below the house and the other was near the bus stand. This incident happened on 16 August 2004. Chandbabu was in Patna. On the same day, some people reached Chandbabu's son in Siwan and started demanding two lakh rupees. However, the sons present at home said that they did not have money. We will talk when father comes. The goons who came to demand ransom did not agree. The matter escalated to a fight. After the attack, the people who came to demand ransom took away Chandbabu's two sons Rajiv and Girish from the house. After this, his third son Satish was taken away from another shop.
On whose orders did all this happen?
These people who came to demand ransom were goons of the powerful leader Shahabuddin. It is claimed that Shahabuddin called Chandbabu's house and again demanded ransom. After kidnapping Chandbabu's sons, they were brought to Shahabuddin's village Pratappur. Chandababu has said in many TV interviews that Shahabuddin and the then minister of Bihar government Awadh Bihari Chaudhary had come to inaugurate a shop below his house. Since then Shahabuddin had his eyes on his house. For this he kidnapped our two boys and killed them.
