Nicole Eggert has made a heartbreaking admission, saying she is "sick" of having to undergo treatments for breast cancer. The actress, best known for playing Summer Quinn in Baywatch, was diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma, a rare form of breast cancer in 2023. The Baywatch icon opened up about how exhausted she has been battling the disease alongside going through the menopause. The 53-year-old initially believed she was going through menopause when she experienced symptoms such as gaining 11kg in three months and suffering "terrible" pain in her breast.
However, doctors later discovered it was cancer. Speaking on the Pod Meets World podcast, she said: "I'm so sick of it. I have two good weeks out of every month and the other two weeks I'm at the treatment center. So it's really all consuming." She made the confession to presenters Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle and Rider Strong, who all starred in Boy Meets World, where Nicole also appeared in a guest role.
Danielle asked: "So even when you're feeling good you're still not feeling that great?" To which Nicole replied: "One hundred percent.
"I still have surgeries ahead of me next month that I'm excited about. I really took my time with that because I just didn't know what was the right route for me.
"There are just so many opinions and options and I'm someone that needs to sleep on it so I took a year to listen to everybody, digest it all... It's a big decision."
Nicole revealed that her daughters, Dilyn, 27, and Keegan, 14, have been a constant source of support and strength throughout her health battle, despite her eldest living far away.

"My oldest lives in New York so she didn't have to witness a lot of it like my young one did but they're supportive, they bring me to a place of taking me outside myself too, because when you're a mom it gives you purpose and keeps you from feeling sorry for yourself," she said.
"You have stuff to do and you have this role to play. Life is so much bigger than yourself when you're a mom or a parent."
The health update comes after Nicole revealed that she had a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. The star had previously undergone a single mastectomy but announced she had a second procedure last month.
Nicole starred on Baywatch for three seasons from 1992 to 1994. Although she was originally supposed to appear on the show's spin-off, she landed a role on the main show and became a core part of the cast.
