's star Genevieve Chenneour suffered a minor head injury after her phone was stolen while she sat at a coffee shop in London. The actress who starred in the hit period drama as Clara Livingston bravely attempted to stop the thief during the attack, which she claimed even left her dog traumatised.
The 18-year-old perpetrator then lashed out at another customer who tried to help her by savagely kicking and punching them. According to , Westminster Magistrates' Court heard Zacariah Boulares plead guilty to stealing the phone. It was also reported that the Algerian native admitted to common assault of the fellow customer, named Carlos Kurcishi.
In a separate charge, Boulares pleaded guilty to another theft after he swiped a black leather bag from a guest at a pizza restaurant.
The court heard he has 12 previous convictions for a total of 28 offences, all relating to theft, and as a result, Boulares was remanded into custody ahead of sentencing on June 17 at Isleworth Crown Court.
Genevieve told the publication: "They didn't expect me to stand up for myself, but I did. I was left with a concussion just before the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and since then, I've felt constantly on edge.
"Even my dog was traumatised - now, if anyone touches me, he panics and tries to protect me."

The actress added: "Getting a coffee shouldn't be something you need your wits about you for.
"I'm so grateful to the staff at Joe and The Juice, they were incredible during the incident and when I went back to see them after."
This comes after giving police in England and Wales more power under the Safer Streets Mission.
Earlier this year, Home Secretary said the bill would address the "epidemic of street theft", including a rise in phone and bag snatching and shoplifting.
Under the bill, police will gain the power to enter and search a property without a court warrant for a stolen mobile phone or other electronically tracked items, such as laptops or Bluetooth-tagged bikes.
