Donald Trump torn apart on Saturday Night Live in brutal parody - he won't be happy

Saturday Night Live brutally mocked Donald Trump in a parody sketch, as it addressed the No Kings March which took place hours earlier.Trump impersonator James Austin Johnson was back in his regular role as the President, as he took part in teen-led podcast called Snack Homiez to discuss the demonstrations. In the sketch "Trump" praised the protests as he called them "Yes King" to celebrate Santos' prison sentence being commuted, as he was serving seven years for defrauding voters among other crimes.

He said: "You know who I like is George Santos. He's weird, he's a liar. I think he's great. We don't know anything about him. He's one of our favorite people. I don't know him at all but one of our favorite people," Trump said, before referencing Saturday's No Kings protests nationwide against him. "People are marching because they're happy he's free. It's a 'Yes, king' March. They say 'Yes, king.' Maybe if I think about it, blue Airhead."

The "President" also referenced Trump's previous claim that he had ended multiple wars, as he said: "Something like 200 wars, right? You know Zelensky, he asked for Tomahawks that could reach Moscow, and I used to not like the guy, but he's tough, he loves his country. He loves his country."

He said: "You look at China, you look at Korea - I've solved like seven wars at this point. No one gives me credit. It's like 100 wars I've solved."

Meanwhile, host Colin Jost's Trump joke did not go down well, as he quipped that Donald Trump had sent a loan to Argentina because 'if history is any guide, a lot of Trump officials will end up fleeing to Argentina.'

It was a reference to the mass exodus of Nazi war criminals to Argentina in 1945 during the aftermath of the Second World War.

However, the joke did not seem to hit the mark, as there was an awkward silence in the studio. Some may have been caught off-guard by the dark joke, while others did not understand the implication.

An embarrassed Jost tried to smooth over the lead balloon joke, as he responded by thanking the only person who applauded in response, saying: "Hey, one clap!" as the audience could then be heard murmuring, as he added: "I'm just kidding'."
