Jake Fraser-McGurk, Xavier Bartlett included in Australia T20I squad for West Indies series

Australia have announced squad changes for their upcoming T20I series against West Indies, introducing Jake Fraser-McGurk and Xavier Bartlett as replacements for Spencer Johnson and Josh Hazlewood .

Fraser-McGurk aims to make his mark in the T20 format after missing out on a national contract. His inclusion comes at a crucial time for the Australian team.

Josh Hazlewood is heading home to prepare for the South Africa series, while Spencer Johnson remains sidelined due to an ongoing back injury.

The Australian team has shown impressive form, winning 12 of their last 14 T20 matches. They look to maintain this momentum before the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka next year.

Mitchell Marsh will continue as T20I captain, leading the team in the absence of Pat Cummins , Mitchell Starc, and Travis Head, who are returning home after the Test series victory against West Indies.

The series against West Indies comprises five T20I matches, with two games scheduled in Kingston and three in Basseterre.
