Actor Shubham Dipta is currently winning hearts playing the role of Kartik in the family drama Mangal Lakshmi. The audience is appreciating his performance as a rockstar in the serial. In an exclusive conversation, he revealed his passion for singing in real life.
He said, "I enjoy singing. It can boost your mood and make you feel relaxed. So whenever I get time, I sing. That's how I keep myself active and entertained to perform and give my best. Also, it's a social activity, fostering a sense of belonging and connection."
Shubham has been training to sing independently by following videos of his favourite singer Sonu Nigam on YouTube. Earlier he also mentioned, "I follow his riyaz and breathing techniques by watching his videos on YouTube, adhering to his teachings religiously. So, it can’t get any better than having my character named Kartik ‘Nigam’. I feel it’s all interconnected, and this character was destined for me.”
Talking ahead he also opened up about the significance of Social media in his life. It is said that Actors these days are bound to be on such platforms and stay updated with trends. But for him, it's not the same.
He shared, "I'm on social media platforms. But they are just a medium to be connected with my audience. I don't really take any extra pressure to be in trends or do sort of things. I participate if that excites me or if it's part of my profession. Otherwise, I enjoy social media like normal people do. I'm not super active."
Shubham earlier gained fame with the serial Do Chutki Sindoor in which he essayed the titular role of Vinayak Pande, before that he was part of Pyaar Tune Kya Kia and Appnapan.
