Russell Brand has been charged with five serious crimes, including rape and sexual assault, involving four different women. These charges came after a detailed investigation that began in September 2023 by The Sunday Times, The Times, and Channel 4’s Dispatches. The Metropolitan Police later confirmed the charges on April 4, 2025.

One woman said she was just 16 when she met Russell, who was 30 at the time. She claimed that during their first meeting, he shockingly said, “I don’t give a f*** if you’re 12… I need to know where I stand legally.”

And as I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous. Now during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely, always consensual.' His only fault as per him, was being "too transparent".
