NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli’s fire was on full display during Royal Challengers Bengaluru ’s seven-wicket win over Punjab Kings on Sunday — not just with the bat but in a fiery mid-pitch moment with skipper Rajat Patidar.

The incident occurred in the 16th over of RCB’s chase of 158 at the new PCA Stadium in Mullanpur. On the fourth delivery, Kohli nudged Arshdeep Singh toward deep square leg and instantly called for two. But Patidar hesitated after completing the first run, leaving Kohli — already halfway down — fuming as Patidar stalled mid-pitch.
