WWE star Cody Rhodes has expressed interest in pursuing acting opportunities in Hollywood, following the footsteps of fellow WWE stars like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, John Cena, and Dave Bautista.
As per reports, Cody Rhodes will be seen in action in the upcoming movie " The Naked Gun ," which is expected to release this year. This is not the first time he has appeared in a film. He has previously acted in the DC series " Arrow" and participated in several WWE-produced films.
Cody Rhodes opened up about his plans to move to Hollywood during the podcast Pardon My Take, where Rhodes admitted that he has caught the acting bug and may become the next wrestler turned actor. During the candid conversation, the WWE champion said: “I’d love to get out there, there’s some fun projects coming up. I’d love to get out there and tell stories that way for sure, and grow. I love pro wrestling, I always will."
The Undisputed Champion also stated, “To get out there, I love what Rock has done, I love what John has done, and Dave Batista as well. All of them have gone different routes when approaching Hollywood, and I think I might be next to join the fray in all that.”
