JAMMU: The daughter of anadministrative officer martyred in unprovoked Pakistan shelling in Rajouri will be appointed the assistant law officer when she completes her studies, said J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in Jammu on Monday.
Mareesa Thapa, the daughter of additional district development commissioner (ADDC) Raj Kumar Thapa, is currently pursuing law. The LG handed over a letter assurance to Mareesa on Monday. Expressing his solidarity with the family, Sinha reaffirmed the administration’s commitment in providing them all possible help.
The LG’s office posted on X, "Met the daughter of ADDC Rajouri, Dr Raj Kumar Thapa , who was martyred during unprovoked Pakistani shelling in Rajouri. Handed over assurance letter to her that she will be appointed as an Assistant Law Officer after completion of her studies."
